Yoga Styles:

- Hatha: these classes focus on enhancing the accuracy and alignment of postures thus improving body awareness. During this moderate form of yoga, holding postures boost your stamina and concentration. Recommended for beginners but variable enough to keep experienced students challenged.
- Vinyasa: this form of yoga connects each movement to breath thus deepening your focus and meditation, as you flow from posture to posture. This faster paced yoga can boost your strength and fitness providing a cardio workout.
- Hatha Journey: In order to capitalise on the holistic benefits of yoga, Cathy has developed Journey Yoga which is a physical practice but has more emphasis on yogic philosophy, meditation and the mind than most yoga classes. Participants are encouraged to incorporate philosophies into their practice and life through 'thought projects'. To learn more, click here.
- Exploratory Hatha: a large portion of this class is dedicated to exploring an unusual fun posture. Yoga is often described as our natural state, children naturally try out the postures while they play. In this less-serious class we explore yoga postures by taking time to play, explore, and laugh.
