| What is ‘Yoga’?
Yoga is a movement meditation that originated in India but its influences have spread across the globe. Yoga aims to bring union to body, mind and soul, thus promoting holistic health. Physically it enhances energy-levels, strength, fitness and flexibility while bringing mental clarity, greater self awareness and a sense of inner peace to the practitioner. The weekly practice of yoga helps one cope with the stresses and strains of modern living. Yoga can be more than an amazing work out; it is a methodology that provides the practitioner with coping skills for a demanding world.
Classes at Your Yoga Space include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation as well as yogic philosophy and psychological theory.
