Cathy Rogers
"Starting yoga in my teens as a method to improve my ill health, I have found the yogic lifestyle to have incredible benefits for body, mind and soul. Being trained in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga I have also been influenced by my dear teachers from numerous yoga schools including Iyengar, Jivamukti, Tibetan Heart and Forrest yoga. After studying psychology and working as a psychometrist, I have a strong focus on individual development. Believing psychology, spirituality and yoga to be a powerful combination for living a healthy and balanced life, I hope to support each individual’s unique journey in a caring and compassionate way while moving them closer to actualization. Om Mani Padme Hum." |
Philosophy on yoga
Cathy's philosophy is to open the body and mind through a gentle, regular and varied yoga practice. Pushing the body too fast, too far and without appropriate preparation can close the body. However, by working the body gently and over time, one attains the best results: the body opens and becomes more malleable and responsive, leading to holistic health. |
